What is the Power Platform?

The Microsoft Power Platform is a digital transformation solution fully integrated in Microsoft 365. It enables companies to automate business processes within the Microsoft environment as well as in ERP systems (such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle) and other third-party systems. In addition, it offers powerful data analysis functions and allows the development of individual applications – without any in-depth programming knowledge.

The platform includes:

  • Power Apps: Creating individual applications for web and mobile devices to digitize business processes – without complex programming. Ideal for forms, self-service portals and mobile solutions
  • Power Automate: Automation of workflows between applications and services. With Power Automate Desktop, we also offer Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to automate recurring tasks on desktop systems
  • Power BI: Visualize and analyze data in interactive dashboards for informed decisions. Real-time reporting and KPI tracking for all business areas
  • Power Virtual Agents: Development of intelligent chatbots for customer service or internal processes – without any code. Integration into websites, Microsoft Teams and other channels
  • Process Mining: Identification of optimization potentials in business processes by analyzing real-time company data. Supports continuous process improvement
  • AI Builder: Integration of AI functions in the power platform such as predictions, text recognition (OCR), image analysis and sentiment analysis directly into apps and automations
  • Agent Flow: Extends automation with AI-driven agents that can independently perform complex tasks. These agents combine automation with decision logic and can e.g. B. Analyze data, make decisions and trigger follow-up actions – ideal for scenarios such as dynamic approvals or intelligent customer interactions

Successful Go-Live: Automated Export of Company Data

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of our project for fully automated data transmission – implemented for a leading stainless steel expert!

As part of the emergency concept, a solution was implemented with Microsoft Power Automate that, in the event of system failures, ensures fast and secure data availability within the company’s IT — without external AI processing or third-party access.

✔ Enterprise-relevant data from Microsoft Dynamics 365 are automated and exported exclusively to a local server within their own IT infrastructure
✔ Files are deleted according to predefined GDPR-compliant rules to ensure maximum security and compliance
✔ Manual errors are avoided, efficiency increased and operating costs reduced

Business Impact: The previously manual export was replaced by an automated solution that offers the highest level of security, transparency and speed. The processing time has been drastically shortened while integration into Microsoft Dynamics 365 is seamless.
